HARI's Pride

HARI's PRIDE is a project that centralises representation on what it means to be LGBTQ+, black, transgender, non-binary, a veteran, a mum, bilingual, a thinker, a risk taker - whatever you are and whatever you want to be - in the UK right now. It is a reminder of the beauty in identity and diversity. It is an opportunity to give the spotlight to differences within our academy community and to honour and celebrate them.

The project launches as a large-scale exhibition on one of the walls/corridors in the academy that will feature photographs and profiles a range of students and staff who make up our diverse community, the contributions they make and the roles they play in our community, our academy, our lives and our society.

What are you proud to be? Tell us here. What are other people saying? See below..

Someone is proud to..
..be a black-British educator ..have broad shoulders
..have been born in South London ... be non-binary
..have escaped Thurrock (in the best possible way!) have changed my family's stereotype
..be a creative communicator ..be a working father

Proud to be
