September 2025 Enrolment Information
If you would like to study with us in September you will need to attend an enrolment meeting at Harris Academy Riverside on results day.
Enrolment meetings
Once you have received your GCSE results then you will need to attend an enrolment meeting with us on Thursday 21st August to accept your place.
You will need to bring with you:

A copy of your results slip

A proof of identity (birth certificate or passport)
-
A proof of address (this can be in your parent/guardians name)
Current Harris Riverside students will have their enrolment meeting in the canteen from 9am. For students coming to us from external schools the meetings will take place from 11am and you will need to report to reception, we will send a more specific time slot for you in August via e-mail.
The enrolment meeting will be a conversation with a member of the sixth form team.
The meeting will involve the following:

Checking you meet our entry requirements

Make your final decisions on which A level courses you would like to take

Complete enrolment forms (links to these will be e-mailed to you ahead of enrolment day so that you can fill them out in advance if you wish)

Student ID photograph taken
If you are unable to attend an enrolment meeting then we have a catch-up day on Friday 22nd August where we are doing drop-in enrolment meetings. Alternatively, you can call us on this day to confirm your place if you won’t be in the country for the meeting.
Key Dates:
Thursday 21st August – Enrolment Day 1 (9:00 to 16:00)
Friday 22nd August – Enrolment Day 2 (Walk in appointments for students who haven't already made an application with us - 9:00 to 13:00)
Thursday 4th September – Year 12 Orientation Morning – all year 12 students (9am start)
Friday 5th September – Year 12 Maths Bridging Day – Only year 12 maths students (9:00 to 13:30)
Monday 8th September – Timetabled academy lessons begin – All students (8:40 start)
Transition Work
This work allows you to practice key level 8 and 9 content from GCSE to prepare you to start your subjects in September. All students should bring their completed transition work with them on your first week of lessons in September so that teachers can check it has been completed. Please only complete the transition work for the subjects you are planning on taking at A level.
