Tomorrow is GCSE results day! 📚Results can be collected between 9 and 11am from the canteen. We are looking forwards to celebrating with you! 🎉

Mahdi achieved an incredible 3A*s and 2 As, including an A* in Maths when he was in Year 12 and an A in Biology in just one year. What an achievement!  ‘s engineering department is lucky to have you!

Haneefa has achieved A*A*AA in her A Levels today after joining us two years ago with equally outstanding GCSE results from  . She is off to study medicine at King’s College London! Well done Haneefa!

The Academy Day

The academy day is as follows;

Monday - Thursday 

The day comprises 4 lessons of 80 minutes each and one 20 minute reading session or briefing 

Every student has a 20 minute morning break and a 40 minute lunch break.

 

Each Friday

8.40 AM until 1.30 PM

The day comprises 3 lessons of 85 minutes each and one 20 minute reading session or briefing

Every student has a 20 minute morning break. Lunch is provided at 1.30 but students may leave at any time after 1.30.

 

Opening and closing

The academy gates open for students at 7.45 and the canteen is available shortly after. The gates usually close around 4.45 Monday to Thursday and at around 2.45 on Friday but students in clubs and interventions who are supervised may stay after this time.

The academy is sometimes open at weekends and holidays for staff and for students only when students are supervised and have been invited in for an intervention, club, trip or event.
