Entry requirements for September 2021 can be downloaded below but in brief are

  • To study Biology you need a 7 in Biology GCSE and a 6 in Physics and Chemistry or a 7,6 in combined Science and a 6 in Maths and a 5 in English
  • To study Chemistry you need a 7 in Chemistry GCSE and a 6 in Physics and Biology or a 7,6 in combined Science and a 6 in Maths and a 5 in English
  • To study Physics you need a 7 in Physics GCSE and a 6 in Biology and Chemistry or a 7,6 in combined Science and a 7 in Maths and a 5 in English
  • To study Maths A level you need an 7 at GCSE Maths and a 5 in English
  • To study Further Maths at A level you must have an 8 at GCSE Maths and be studying A Level Maths
  • To study Economics you need a 6 in Maths and a 5 in English
  • To study Psychology you need a 5 in Maths and a 5 in English

Entry requirements for September 2022 are as follows;

  • A grade point average of at least 5.75 for best 8 GCSE grades or equivalent, including at least
  • Grade 7 in GCSE Maths
  • Grade 6 in GCSE English Language

And in addition to the above,

  • in order to study an A level in Biology, Physics or Chemistry, a student will need to have achieved at least grade 7 in the equivalent GCSE subject, and
  • in order to study an A level in Further Maths, students will need to have achieved at least grade 8 in GCSE Maths
