Uniform
To view the uniform please download the Uniform Board below.
The information below (and examples of shoes which we consider to be acceptable and unacceptable) is available for download as our Uniform policy 2021-2022 here.
Students without correct uniform will not be allowed into lessons or to take part in academy life.
Should a student arrive at the academy without correct uniform,
- parents or carers will be asked to bring appropriate uniform as soon as possible, or
- items of uniform may be loaned to them or, with the permission of the parent or carer, sold to them from the academy's spare stock, or
- the student will work out of class until the uniform is corrected.
Uniform will be available to purchase online from around June each year from our uniform suppliers. During our transition week, parents or carers will have the opportunity to try on and order uniform. Parents and carers are advised not to try to purchase uniform from other outlets since colours and styles may vary. Any variation from the uniform will be deemed to be incorrect uniform.
See below for notes on shoes.

Shoes
Unfortunately, shoe retailers’ opinions and marketing about what is an acceptable school shoe differs from the opinions of many schools and academies. In particular, many shoes sold by retailers as ‘suitable for school’ are really, in our opinion, trainers.
Uniform is very important to the academy and its students and parents or carers should ask if in any doubt as to what is acceptable.
The procedures and standards for shoes are in line with our standards and procedures for uniform. Please see above for procedures in the event of a student wearing uniform incompatible with our policy.
Shoe policy in summary:
· No SPORTS branded footwear
· No boots above the ankle
· Shoes must be black
· No gold, metallic trimmings.
