Head of Academy appointed
We are pleased to announce that Andrew Betts has been appointed as Head of Academy at Harris Academy Riverside.
Andrew will be working alongside Nicky Graham, who will be Executive Principal across both Harris Academy Riverside and Harris Academy Chafford Hundred. He said:
“Nicky and I have worked together at Harris Academy Chafford Hundred for a number of years now and we’ve seen it rise to become not only the highest-performing school in Thurrock but also the most oversubscribed. We are excited to replicate this success at Harris Academy Riverside.
I grew up in nearby Southend and now live locally to both Harris Academy Chafford Hundred (where I’ve worked since 2002) and Harris Academy Riverside. As parents with young families, I know you’ll share my determination to provide local children with a happy and successful education.”
