Business Studies
Business Studies is a dynamic and relevant subject that helps students understand how modern businesses shape the world around us. From global brands like Apple to local entrepreneurs, students explore how innovation, marketing, finance, human resources, and ethical decision‑making influence daily life. The curriculum is designed to inspire and equip learners with practical knowledge and entrepreneurial skills, whether they want a career in traditional business roles or wish to enhance their passion, be it hairdressing, art, or a trade. By studying real‑world companies and key business leaders, students gain the confidence and insight needed for further study and future careers.
Economics
Economics examines how societies produce, distribute, and consume resources, helping students understand the decisions that shape government policy and global markets. Through the study of topics such as trade, competition, poverty, employment and fiscal and monetary policy, students develop a strong understanding of how economies function. The course also explores the role of banking, supply and demand, and international economic systems. By the end of A level Economics, students are well prepared to engage with contemporary economic issues and pursue further study or careers in related fields.
