Clubs
Our aim at Harris Academy Riverside is to develop and cultivate the following core skills and character strengths, which can be gained and developed through enrichment: confidence, curiosity, resilience, teamwork, leadership, problem-solving, and capital cultural knowledge. Research suggests that students who participate in academy life outside the classroom are both happier and have a more successful experience academically and socially in and beyond school.
Clubs at HARI 23-24 will commence Monday 11th September 2023. In Term 1 of the academic year 23-24, the academy is running 31 Subject Specific and Beyond clubs and 17 Sports and Creative Arts clubs, a total of 48 clubs a week.
See also our experience planner for trips, sixth form societies, cadets, Duke of Edinburgh and Greenpower, conferences, and focus sessions in Year 11 and 13.
