Our Post-16 Curriculum

The intent of our Post-16 Curriculum is to provide the right qualifications to prepare all our students to study at the top universities in the country and undertake the best appreticeships and go on to become leaders in their fields. We achieve this by developing independence, instilling an appreciation for scholarship and developing professional habits in our students to ensure they succeed not only in their A levels, but in higher education and beyond.

When students continue on to Harris Academy Riverside's Sixth Form, they are able to narrow their subject curriculum to suit their chosen further education and career pathway. We have high aspirations for and expectations of all of our students at KS5 and the subjects that we offer at KS5 reflect this. Our A Level teachers are specialists in their subjects and continually drive students to achieve outstanding results whilst imparting their passion for their subjects to our students.

Our subject offer is broad with the aim of delivering excellent outcomes and skills that are the key to unlocking the next steps in life for our students.

We currently only offer A-levels at our Sixth Form.

The 'destinations' bit was updated in-line with HARI earlier this year, but it's not very user-friendly on our current website: https://www.harrisriverside.org.uk/3110/destination-help-and-support
