Harris Academy Riverside Celebrates GCSE Success
Students at Harris Academy Riverside are celebrating a strong set of GCSE results, with achievements across the academy and a series of exceptional individual successes.
This year's results reflect the hard work, determination and ambition of our students, supported every step of the way by dedicated staff and families.
A Year of Achievement
The academy is particularly proud to have achieved a 100% pass rate in several subjects, highlighting the strength of teaching and the resilience shown by students throughout their GCSE studies.
Performance in the sciences was especially impressive, with more than 70% of separate science students achieving a Grade 7 or higher.

These results demonstrate the academy's continued success in delivering excellent outcomes and preparing students for the next stage of their education.
Excellence Across the Curriculum
Students also achieved strong outcomes across a wide range of subjects, including:
- English
- Mathematics
- Art
- Music
These successes reflect the breadth of talent within the year group and the commitment students have shown throughout their time at Harris Academy Riverside.
Celebrating Individual Success
Among the academy's highest achievers is Vagmi, who secured an outstanding seven Grade 9s and five Grade 8s, placing her among the top performers in the academy this year.
Toluwani also achieved an exceptional set of GCSE results, demonstrating consistent excellence across her qualifications and earning a collection of top grades.
The academy is equally proud of every student who collected their results, with many making significant progress and securing the grades needed to move on to their chosen destinations.

International Scholarship Success
Adding to the celebrations, two Year 11 students have been awarded prestigious scholarships to continue their post-16 education at a school in China. This remarkable achievement recognises not only their academic excellence but also their character, ambition and future potential.
Head of Academy's Message
Rachel Sofianos, Head of Academy, said:
"Seeing students collect their results this morning was one of the most rewarding moments of the year. The excitement, pride and joy on their faces reflected the hard work and determination they have shown throughout their time with us. These achievements are thoroughly deserved, and I could not be prouder of our students or of our dedicated staff who have supported them every step of the way. We look forward to seeing what this exceptional group of young people goes on to achieve next."
Looking Ahead
As our Year 11 students take their next steps into sixth form, college, apprenticeships and other exciting opportunities, we congratulate them on all they have achieved and wish them every success for the future.
Congratulations, Class of 2026. We are incredibly proud of you.
