"Joining Harris Riverside after the start of Sixth Form meant that I had to work hard to catch up on Chemistry while adapting to a new environment. Despite this challenge, I pursued my ambition of studying medicine by taking part in the NELFT NHS Trust Medical Summer School, completing NeuroLab at King's College London, and gaining GP work experience in Hong Kong. These experiences deepened my appreciation for the complexity of medicine as both a science and a vocation, and have shown me the importance of resilience and determination as I prepare for a future career as a doctor."

Rachel Sofianos, Head of Academy said:

“Our students are celebrating places on top courses such as PPE and Medicine at some of the UK’s leading universities as well as outstanding apprenticeships with top employers. I am proud that they have each chosen the path that is right for them and prouder still of the work they put in to get there.”
