Applications for Year 7 places starting September 2026 should be made online using the Common Application Form provided and administered by the local authority. This opens on 1 September 2025 and can be found at the link below.

The deadline for applications to year 7 for the academic year commencing September 2026 is 31st October 2025. Applications should be made to the local authority. Please refer to the local authority if you wish to submit a late application or if you have a query about admissions.
Parents will need to log on and check their admission account via Thurrock Council to see what place your child has been offered from 2nd March 2026.

Parents/carers will have the right of appeal to an independent appeal panel if they are dissatisfied with an admission decision of the academy. The appeal panel will be independent of the academy. The arrangements for appeals will be in line with the school’s admissions appeals code published by the Department for Education. Please be aware that any appeal must either demonstrate the academy has administered their admissions policy incorrectly or that HARI can provide access to an education that your current school cannot. If an appeal is made on medical grounds, evidence must be provided from a GP or hospital consultant.
