Mr Anders is an experienced senior leader, educator and elite basketball coach with over 20 years’ experience across education and high-performance sport in the UK and internationally. Originally from Canada, he holds a Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Education and Business/Technology diploma.
After beginning his career teaching Business Studies, ICT, Computing, Geography and Physical Education, Mr Anders progressed through middle leadership roles in London schools before moving into senior leadership in Purfleet, where he initially led Teaching and Learning before shifting his focus towards improving KS3 outcomes, raising standards and developing high-performing teams.
Alongside his work in education, Mr Anders has coached elite basketball at university and professional levels, working with NCAA, NBA G-League, FIBA 3x3 and European professional athletes. He has held Director of Basketball and Head Coach positions at King’s College London, UAL and Imperial College London, leading programmes to multiple championship successes and national recognition.
